We had a Shih Tzu shipped via air, from Georgia to N.Y. and she arrived fine. The breeder said she only would use a certain airline as it was the only one that had a climate controlled cargo area. It was $200.00 to ship ours. I know others who have done the same and no bad experiences. good luck...
