I would definitely have the Vet make a farm call. When a mare is preggars, it doesn't pay to take chances and do guess work. JMO and I'm no Vet either.

I have a full Falabella mare, her son who is a 50/50 blend and two of her granddaughters who are 25% Falabella. They are my favorites in my barn of 13 presently. I really like the full Falabella and the blends as well. JMO. Joyce

My AMHA stallion issue just arrived yesterday and I have gone thru it cover to cover. Congratulations to Lost Spoke on the cover of MHW of Catch, their winning stallion. He is georgeous beyond words and has achieved a lot in his showing. Joyce L

I use shavings in my stalls but for a mare due to foal I put in hay and the baby foals on the hay. That is used for a few days and then I change them over to the shavings. Never have had a problem with this way of doing it. I like using the hay as it is softer than straw and if the Mom eats...

I think she needs to stay. Looks like a lot going for her and I think if you do sell her, you'll regret it later. Just rememer, there's always room for ONE more !!! Joyce L

We have heated buckets to all but two stallions. Those two stallions have their water checked a few times a day to make sure they both have drinking water or I add hot water to melt the ice in the bucket. They all have access to salt blocks year round. Joyce L
