What are your New Year's resolutions?

Do you plan to do anything special (or do you have a yearly tradition) to celebrate bringing in the new year?

Again this year I want to shed some pounds. Other than that, to take driving lessons and train my boy.

On New Years Eve, us older siblings get together and have a party in the basement which is kind of the TV/game room I guess :p My sister that's married and moved out comes and brings this really good spicy chicken buffalo chip did stuff and we get alot of junk food and watch the NY countdown then we countdown our clock at midnight. =) (with our red solo cups and sparkling juice;)) 2013 Summer I plan to show my miniature horse, Eowyn, and I am Sooooo excited to begin training my new gelding for barrel racing! =)

New Years Eve is probably going to be a repeat of last year.. My GF and I comfortable at home, probably some drinks. We both work New Years Day..

I don't make New Year resolutions per se, I just continue to hope / strive for success all around, including my career.

Also, hoping for my GF to get pregnant in 2013.

We usually have steak and a good movie at home.

I won't make any resolutions-then I won't break any!

Keith's and my jazz trio used to play at clubs and private parties every New Year's Eve. This was always fun, but after playing Auld Lang Syne and playing for another hour or so, we then had to load up a vanful of musical instruments and our sound system and drive home with all the drunks on the road. Nowadays, we only play New Year's Eve if we can stay the night.

Boss Mare, wishing you and your girlfriend luck in the upcoming year.

I'd love to lose weight and get out of debt, but I just really want to be happy this year.

We don't do much on New Year's Eve. We just stay home (don't trust other drivers) and count down the time til the new year. Then we toast and say our New Year's resolutions. My brother's birthday is on New Year's, so we do most of the fun stuff then.

Well I haven't really seen my hubby in almost 3 weeks! He worked right through Christmas(thank you God he has a job!!!

) so I'm hoping we can just sit and relax at home. Let the kiddo stay up as late as his eyeballs will stay open, maybe have a beer or 2

Boss Mare! I double what KanoasDestiny said!!! Good Luck!!

I have a resolution I guess- to start flossing my teeth--I always forget! I'm going to have to try hard to remind myself XD

I haven't made a resolution in years, but this year I'm going to try and promise to take better care of myself. Stop putting off things like mammagrams and visit the dentist more then once.

As for tradition, the only thing we do is eat this on New Years day, pork chops, rice and black eyed peas, (hoppen John) and a green, this year it is spinach.

Good luck with all your resolutions and traditions. I've never made resolutions but this time I did. Mine is to be myself and to find "me" again..to not continue to alter my life to keep someone else happy...the second one will be way easier, I vow to walk 1 mile every day.

Amen yo. Amen.
