Has anyone heard of this farm? I have a mare from there and just wanted to see their background in breeding miniatures. EX. How long, is it still going, Where is it at? That knind of stuff.

Yes, I have heard of them and in some of the older magazines I recall seeing that prefix quite a bit. I looked at the AMHA studbook and there are over 100 horses with "A Better Farm" prefix. It was owned by JOE & BETTY BURROWS. I found some registration as recent as 2008, but didn't look at them all so don't know if they are still raising them or not. Hope this helps some. Someone out there must know of them personally as it appears they were very active at one time.

They do not breed anymore, but it was originally Joe and Betty Burrows out of Moscow, Tennessee.
I have one of their mares as well, and another horse that originally came from them that died a few years back. The mare is a daughter of their stallion Hidden Meadows Holy Smoke (son of Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyan) and is a dwarf- very obviously a dwarf. How they ever got papers on her I have no idea. The other horse, a small bay stallion, was of much nicer quality, though the only foal by his sire, according to the AMHA Studbook.

My mares sire is Hidden Meadows Holy Smoke, but she is AMHR only so that would explain that. LOL There is a pic of
her on my profile. He name is A Better Home Farm Shine Home aka Cheyenne or Chey. Thank you everyone for all the help!
