That really looks nice! What did you use for the color areas? Somebody should be very happy with that job!

Oh that is differnt than your other ones, has almost a 3D look to it.

It is really neet looking.

I wanted to try making an animal of some kind today but I got stuck "trying" to fix my husbands computer.

Thanks for the compliments on this one. I've never done an auto before so this was a big time first!

I just used colored pencils. They make acrylic pencils but I haven't tried that yet. This is my first "color". I did the shading with the burner and then added the color to get as close as possible to the truck. The other truck is going to be fun. Bright red!

Your very very good someone is going to be real thrilled when he gets that.. :bgrin

Hee Hee! It's growing daily! I have some I want to do for myself for local shops and can't get to them yet! BUT it does keep me out of trouble.....sort of.

Beautiful work!!! :aktion033: Just a suggestion for you though. I don't know what you use to "seal" the final product, but what ever you use, please try the sealer on a scrap piece of wood that you colored with the pencils first. I found with the cuts outs that I do, that pencil seems to "run" with the brush direction when I brushed on the sealer. I found that if I use a spray sealer for the first coat, the pencil color would not smear like it did with the brush. The additional coats of sealer once the spray has dried didn't run when brushed. Just a suggestion for ya.
