I thought this would be interesting since we all have lost special pets. Just a post to tell about those we have lost.

I don't like cats, I never have, but this one came onto our farm one day with his tail partially degloved. I mean, eight inches of raw meat and bone hanging out. He was so friendly but left blood spots all over where he sat or slept. Finally, I took the sheep rubberbander to his tail, thus the name stubby. When we moved to town Stubby became a house cat. I don't know where he came from, what he had been through and I am sure he was never a house cat, but he was the best! He was always with our baby, loving her. He died of a blockage in 2002.
