I had been looking for a special amhr/aspc stallion, and he fell into my lap while also looking for a horse for my special grandson, Blake. His twin sister already had a horse here. Blake was born in Feb. with a heart condition and has had heart surgery, he will have more but is doing well. Blake had spent a lot of time at Columbia Hospital in New York. So when I saw this horse for sale, and THEN saw his name, Longman's Legacy Manhatten. "Manhatten" for Blake in NY, was perfect. Not only was the name, but so is the horse.
Here he is as a baby.
I can never thank Adam enough. He was so wonderful to work with and continues to be as Manny has stayed with him in training, and is doing GREAT in the ring!! I am so very proud of Manny and of Adam, and honored to have such a stallion for my little herd.
This is a recent picture. Kind of hard to see as it is of a proof I am purchasing, but couldn't wait on the pictures to share him. I am just so pleased with him, and Adam and his crew do such an awesome job.
His sire is Grassmeres Jazz Singer, and if Manny is half the boy Jazz is, I will be pleased.
Thanks for allowing me to share my special boy, he just makes my heart go pitter patter. And I can't WAIT for Blake to meet his special horse.
