:DOH!

Congratulations to all of you who won All Star Awards ... but I bet I have you topped here!

My filly was a 10 ten All Star in BOTH the Yearling and the Weanling classes this year! Quite an accomplishment right?

Well, not really because 6 other ponies have the same distinction of being on both the yearling and the weanling lists

ANd here is the best one....

A yearling STALLION was top ten in the MARE foal of current year listings...

And this was after numerous emails and phone calls to the Office providing details and trying to get this fixed.

Now I didn't show much this year, so I didn't expect an award, but what really boths me is the person who's pony didn't get a top spot or got a lower spot because of the ponies listed in the wrong classes, and that we spend so much money and time on this, and every year my points are wrong. ... I am really beginning to wonder why I waste my time and money showing ponies ....

between a person setting up show results and attitudes, it was a hard year for a lot of show managers trying to post their results correctly. If exhibitors weren't on top of their placings I don't know if they would have gotten posted correctly.

BUTTTT - please hang in there, shows are supposed to post the results themselves with their new software. Hopefully this happens correctly. Check with the show managers of the shows you are planning to attend and see if they are going to post as the show runs. If so then people can check results after classes, providing the facility they are in has internet access.

At least in the case of my horse, the show managers all posted the results correctly.

The issue seems to be that in my Area, they hold a "2 yr old and under" class instead of splitting the classes out by age. The way the office explained it, they have to then manually determine where the points go based on the ponies' ages.

When the points were posted to the wrong all-star categories on the web, I carefully outlined what needed to be corrected and sent the information to the office.

It wasn't your area only.... Royal Sequins was never shown outside of Area VI and then only in Yearling Foundation Mare classes and she shows up on the Mare Foal of Current Year list too!

Three classes we exhibited in were totally missing in the initial tabulation and mailing (Classic Walk - Abby is Champion, Modern Pleasure Youth Gelding, Modern Halter Obstacle)! Even though Cathy had corrected it last month Roadrunner Cody's Copy was still missing from the Classic Get of Sire list (he's tied for 6th!).

Hard to figure out your advertising when you are missing stuff!

Hi: Something screwy is sure going on. Our yearling stallion, who does not drive and was only shown in halter classes, came in 7th (I think) in the Draft Driving Classes! Quite an accomplishment. Unfortunately, these results sure do make you wonder what ELSE is screwed up and how accurate the All Stars really are. Points out the need for EXPERIENCED office help -- someone who at least has an idea of which end gets the halter! Ta, Shirlee
