Any Rick Springfield fans out there??

I admit it...I LOVE Rick Springfield!!

lol I have since...well, since "Jessie's Girl" came out...and of course watched him daily on General Hospital (Dr. Noah Drake...the hottest Dr on the show! lol) and "back in the day" saw him in concert 3 times...oh and of course I saw him nakkid in "Hard To Hard"

I met him (and got his autograph on a cassette tape) about 15 yrs ago (not sure when, but I do remember that I LOST that cassette!!

)...and then in 2003 my sister took me to see him in concert again...Her friends worked at the casino where he was playing and she got FRONT ROW CENTER seats and BACKSTAGE passes!!

Here is the pic from that show (I am to the left of Rick...my sister's friends are on the right) I took a pic of the 8 x 10 pic with the ticket and signed backstage pass (THIS autograph is NOT getting lost...LOL!), so the quality is not very good:

Then...last Friday night I went to his concert again (this makes 5 times!) at the same casino...many rows further back, which was hard for me to grasp after seeing him up close and personal that last time...lol...but still we were center row and got these shots (still not great quality...we used our point and shoot instead of Deb's "professional camera" since I didn't think we'd be allowed to take it in

OH MY GOSH that brings back such memory's......... Thanks for sharing Linda L. I've been to his concert's like 5 times, seen his movie and yes saw him naked. Hey I forgot about that!!!!!!! My girlfriend and I used to drive 3-4 hrs to get too his concerts but it didn't matter to us, after all it WAS Rick Springfield. Never did get his autograph. All I have now is his greatest hits CD w/ Jessie's Girl on it and that's STILL my favorite song, other then Human Touch, I love that one also. Thanks again, nice to go down memory lane, it put a smile on my face this morning.

Oh my gosh, how ironic.......I took my niece to Maui and we left on 8-29 from Portland airport and while we were going through the security check at the airport I noticed a lot of guys with guitars, etc. Low and behold at the head of the line was a guy who looked familiar...except he had sunglasses on...and I thought, hmm.....that is odd at 8:30 am....then it dawned on me....it's Rick Springfield. I looked over at Cara and asked, do you know who Rick Springfield is? She goes, who? I said he sings, Jesse's Girl...she goes, oh yep...I said, that is him. Sure enough...it was him and his band mates...... that was my big brush with celebrities at the airport...my only other brush with a celebrity was Dr. Ruth at the Seatac Airport...haha.

I didn't ask him for an autograph or picture, just let them all be.......I guessed that he must have had a show somewhere close the night before and thank you for confirming my suspicions Linda.....now I can tell Cara that is was Rick Springfield for sure..haha.
