Anybody else really dislike this time of year?

Lyn, I so agree with you! Look at the holidays as a time to enjoy and cherish friends and family...forget the rest and just enjoy life! it is in HOW you look at it! jennifer

I finally solved my christmas what-to-buy-for-everyone stress! Its called one stop shopping at the sears portrait studio! I'm getting photos done with my brother, and another set with my boyfriend. So they will be the only ones left I need to buy for. And another bonus? I'll buy foreveryone but spend less than I would have per person, without looking cheap! I love it! And since I'm buying a "smile saver" card from sears, I can do it as many times as I want for 2 years and only pay for the pictures. I can even treat the family to a family portrait!

However, I am sad this year. Usually I decorate the whole house, spend days baking (and sampling!), shopping with my mom, and I ALWAYS pick out the tree with my step dad. This year it looks like I won't be home till the evening on Christmas eve, and everything will be done by then.

Growing up sucks for the holidays.
