Anyone ever dressed minis as

Initially we thought the parade theme was 'masks and mirrors' but we wrongly informed.

It's actually 'something old, something new'.

I had my plans already made for the 1st idea too!

So, I was thinking of dressing Bailey and Willow as a court jester (something old) and as a clown (something new). Anyone ever dressed their minis in one of these costumes? If you have, could you share some photos or at least give me some ideas on what to do!

I am happy that I finally got this idea in my head, as after the parade, Bailey and Willow will be performing tricks in the main street. They only know a few tricks though and the parade is in 2 weeks time! I had better get moving on sewing and trick training!

I'd love to see photos or share some ideas with me. My brain hurts! i promise to post lots of photos once the parade is done.

neither of those but one year we did a bride and groom. My friend owned a mini stallion and I had a mini mare that we had just bred. So for the parade we dressed them up as bride and groom. We made a tuxedo for the stallion and then for the mare we had a veil, too- too, umm trying to remember everything we did. Then we had a "just married sign" with tin cans dragging behind them..LOL it was cute and we won several divisions including the big "pet show" contest thingy after. "something old and something new" just kinda reminds me of a wedding..lol something old, something new something borrowed and something blue!

we did a Mardi Gras parade one year, and my daughter had gotten a jester's hat at the Renaissance Festival, she attached it to her mini's halter and he looked real cute. we also had a neck ruff for him. sorry, have not done a clown. but a red rubber nose would be so cute if you could figure out how to attach it!
