Appy question?

we have a buckskin 2010 colt with appy sclera, molting on his lips and anal skin,and stripped hooves.

clipped his top half tonight I didn't think there were any spots because I didn't see any white hairs but he has some white hairs like roaning on just his butt and center of his back. I know you never know with an appy but thought this might sound firmiliar to someone

his sire is a smutty buckskin (not appy) dam is a palomino snowcap

any idea what he could do from just having roaning on just those areas?

I'll get pics in the morning if I can before work
