we could be mistaken for appy breeder this year!

http://wynnsfollymini.myhosting.net/Albums...dNews/index.htm

this year's foal pics

seein' as how our two foals this year are leopards!

sired by a Double AA Apache Kid son who was gelded about a month before these foals hit the ground.

we also had one appy filly(Chianti-bred) last year, and have a blanketed mare, and at least one with good solid characteristics, a pinto granddaughter of Toyland Triumph who should develop some additional color, and a pintoloosa boy who's about a year away from getting to make speckeldy babies for us.

Wow, if you were getting leopards out of your Apache stallion, darn you for gelding him!! *shakes a fist* but i'm sure you have a logical reason for doing so! Very cute little babies!! I want to take them home =)

Thanks you guys! Keep the appies coming!!!

We will hopefully have some appys in 2 or 3 years. i have an appy yearling filly and my sister has an appy yearling stallion, BHM The Shaman. Definately hope to have future colorful babies!

That's awesome! I am really glad I posted this topic, I love appies to death and it is so neat to see who else is infatuated with them and has a whole ton of them to oo and aahh over =) I am very excited for when I am experienced enough to start breeding, but for now my appy filly is a yearling and I want to show the crud out of her before breeding (if I ever manage to get to a show!) But when I can finally breed her I want to find a super loud producing appy stallion...I am very excited to work my way into the appy world and hope to someday be a great appy breeder like a lot of you who posted!!

Appy (last post) is actually the sire of a colt I was really really working to put money together to get from Woodstock North and I am really impressed with Appy's new photo's you got of him!!  Lets see now...if I remember right you have Who's Appy Now and the son is Oh Appy Day...I should really learn to look first then type!

Oh Appy Day is a FABULOUS colt! He seems to have his Daddy's movement and hopefully he'll spot out, too!

2006 will be our first year to get a bunch of Appy's foals on the ground!

(so far he's bred 5 mares now in 5 days - he'll go back into training on Sunday!)

*Posting for a friend*

I have 2 appy stallions. Lucky Four Links Goldstrike, Knight Stars Shaboom.

AND a new JR. Herdsire soon to be announced.

My main goal is to produce a miniature Ara-Appaloosa, that has show quality

conformation, dished heads, fancy movement, and loud color. The temperment

to jazz it up in the showring, and prance out calmly with the top ribbons.

That is truly sad, if only he was going to mature under 32" then he would be awesome! But he will make an unbelievably gorgeous gelding, I bet you'll win a ton of color classes with him!

I'm in Virginia. I had big Apps & POAs before I got into the little apps in 2000. One stallion - a few spot leopard that produced 4 leopards, 1 blanket & 1 solid-now-spotting-out last year. I have 4 confirmed in foal to him for next year with another 1 I will be testing next month & 2 more I'm working on now.

Here is my yearling stallion by him.

We are also long time appaloosa and overo breeders. We are redoing our website and upgrading pictures, so keep watch for the new looks on the site. We have put up several of our foals, three of which were snowcaps this year. We just love our spots!!!

Here is a very nice filly from our snowcap/few spot stallion!

We also sport a VERY handsome taller <taller than Shooter anyway LOL > AMBER CHAMPAGNE blanketed appy stallion and have a few of our appy mares bred to him for keepers...including one of our classic champagne appy mares..REALLY looking forward to that foal!

Definitely an appy lover and breeder here! Our main herdsire is Whislin Dixies Shotgun Sam, a 28" son of Tony's Little America's Sesquecentennial Tex. My website is also being updated, and I have some horses that aren't on it yet. Love this thread!
