What part of ILLEGAL do people not understand?? Many people have immigrated here to the U.S. the RIGHT and LEGAL way- why cant others? People dont just get pulled over here because they look hispanic- that is ridiculous and the media has blown this SO out of proportion. Did anyone read the article I attached a link to? That's what we need in the country, more crime, less jobs, more child molesters, etc.... sure just open the doors and let them all in because they are not wanted in their own countries and can hide over here.

If it's not a CRIME, why do we have FEDERAL immigration laws at all? The feds were doing nothing here- AZ begged them. People here are sick of the crimes, drugs and all being committed here by people who add NOTHING to society except to cause more problems and I dont like MY tax dollars supporting these people!!! If you think it doesnt affect YOU, then guess again. Because your tax dollars are going to the same thing! Got a relative that doesnt have medical insurance and cant afford care? Tell them to claim they are illegal next time they go to the hospital- it will all be paid for!

Part of the problem is the ridiculous perspective of much of the media -- and that too many tune in not to hear the news, but to be spoonfed an opinion. Such a warped perspective is provided from many sources, such as the below bit from MSNBC:

Anyone who can read that screen shot and not think "Well, duh, it is a crime" has an opinion that I cannot relate to and I have no desire to try and do so.

Jill the herd of sheeple is getting larger and larger... I dont know what ever happened to common sense, or people just completely ignoring the laws. It makes me crazy.

Then to top it off our jails are housing these people..and yet again it's us tax payers that are footing that bill for that. I wonder if we wouldn't have this jail overcrowding problem if we'd protect our borders more from criminals coming into the U.S. to commit crimes.

I mean seriously - when was the last time you heard of someone who you'd be proud to welcome as a new immigrant doing it illegally? I haven't heard of too many educated, good income, specialists in their field, self employed motivators etc. jumping the fence or swimming the river! Even true refugees that we should open our arms to are doing it correctly.

ha, ozymandias, good points exactly! Where is the 'like' button, lol

people do get pulled over based on looks, its illegal so its not advertised as that. it happens all the time hence racial profiling.

Ashly, you are so right, women get pulled over sometimes just because they are beautiful, and just ask any black man and they will tell you they get pulled over just because of their color. To be a person of color is a whole different ballgame.

Yes, they do

Which is why, if I were Latino, I'd be even more against illegal immigration than I am now (if that could happen lol)

It's like here in Oregon. We're not allowed to buy Sudafed for colds without a prescription just in case we want it to make meth! Once again, the many must suffer for the few.

Hubby works at the jail here and I know that anyone brought in is run through the system for everything including immigration status. Not just Hispanics. I think it is a good policy.
