Blake and Riley at 11 months

I am so very excited to say, I have my plane ticket and will be in New York in 25 days!

:yeah I just can not wait to see them and big brother Aidan!

Even with her being the busiest person I know, my daughter has been so wonderful to send me photos and videos all the time of the babies as they have grown. It by far is not the same as being there, but it does help. I can not wait to get there and give them months and months of hugs and kisses.

They are both so very special to us all and just a wonderful gift. They are true miracles, blessings!

Riley is on the right. Looks just like her momma, no hair and all!

She is usually all over the place, but they just happened to catch her being still. Who'd of thought 11 months ago that baby that dropped to 4 lbs., who had open heart surgery, who had no voice,,, would be at 22 pounds, running laps around the house and be screaming with the best of the heavy metal bands lead vocals.

Blake is on the left. Very happy baby, has made good strides the past few months physically. He goes in next Friday for mapping of his heart, and then the date will be set for his open heart surgery. Most likely within the month, but will depend on what they find.

Thank you for allowing me to share our special babies and thank you to all who have continued to include them in your prayers, these two and I, know it works.

WOW! Such beautiful babies! I cant even believe they are already 11 months old. Seems like it was just yesterday that you posted they were here! LOL. Im so glad to hear they are doing so wonderfully!!!! A TRUE MIRACLE! I bet you cant wait to get on the plane! I hope when you get back you will share some pictures of grandma and her babies! They both look fantastic and are so adorable! That one year milestone is huge for all babies - but especially these two miracles! We will be praying for Blake as he prepares to clear this next hurdle! Have fun in New York soaking in all of those hugs and cuddles!

It does seem like they just arrived, but the time to get there sure is going slow,,,maybe I should stop counting the days, out loud anyway.

Thank you for the kind words, we do think they are pretty darn special.

I thank you all so very much for allowing me to share them, and to do a small amounting of venting as well. Being this far away can be hard, and you guys have been there for me through the forum and emails when things weren't so easy. I appreciate you greatly.

It sure does my heart good to see them looking so well. They are 2 beautiful babies for sure. I can't believe the changes in Riley and will be so happy to hear that Blake has his surgery behind him. I know it has to be so hard for you not being closer.

My little "heart" grandson will be a year old in March - it's just amazing what these doctors/surgeons can do today. He, like your grandbabies, is such a happy guy.
