Rusty had his first trim. I tried a new farrier and he talked so much and was so slow that Rusty got very restive. We got it done, but I'm going back to my old farrier. He is very taciturn, but quick.
Rusty is hard to catch in the pasture, though at suppertime, he comes up to be haltered easily. I'm not worried about his being hard to catch now.
When I take Billy out of the pasture without him, Rusty races around the pasture like a crazy horse. Good exercise!
Hope to be able to spend more time on him after the holidays. Right now we are just going for walks and having some scratches.

Rusty’s feet are in good shape now if he is running around like crazy😁👍

Here are Rusty and Billy. Also, a close up of Rusty's head. He does not have the typical miniature horse head; he has a roman nose. Having trouble finding a nice nylon halter to fit him.
We are still getting to know each other.
