Blanket size?

Hey,

I am going to buy this cooler for my mini, but the sizing has me a little confused. It says: Sizes: X-Small (back=28"), Small (back=31"), Medium (back=34"), Large (back=38")

Does this mean that I am suppose to measure my mini's back/ spine to find the sizing?

You measure the mini from the withers to their front toes, but make sure they're standing straight. If your mini is 34 " tall, then you'd get a medium. I bought a sleazy for my mini and I had to get her an X L (34" +) She's a little over 34 ". but I see Large on this item is the largest so thats probably for the size B. =)

My mini is 33" tall, so I should probably get him a medium?

Your best bet is to call and ask--not all blanket suppliers measure the same way! I think I once called Schneiders to ask about their measurements and was told that the back measurement means from withers to tail. I am doubtful that their large size does fit a B mini--at one time they had nothing to fit a horse over 34". That could have changed of course--but the best way to select the correct size is to phone and ask.
