Was wondering if any of you out there that have used Microsoft Picture It, are able to use a technique where you can blend in a photo onto another photo? The cloning in that program is unlike the one I use in my Photo Explosion program. Trying not to make the picture look too stiff or fakey, yet want to be able to put say a little horse onto a new background. Is it possible to do this with this program and make it look natural? If so, which techniques are to be used?

This is what I played around with so far, but no luck. We are looking for a way to transparent a background.

I went to photo/color effects then color/texture and there was some things there about transparency but mostly that was fadeing the whole picture from what I gather.

Then, I went to the bottom of the menu and found "help" and wrote in the drop down box "transparent background" and there was a long explaination clear as mud and goes on and on about the white box I was referring to earllier. Maybe you can understand it but as far as I see it, there is no tranparent tool in Picture It or just being the weenie that I am there is and I can't find it.

There is one however in Paint but boggles the mind too. I did that one backwards and kept loosing my picture.

Kathy I have microsoft picture it, that is where I lay it out and add clip art that I find on the net or in the program.

Thanks Farmhand!!!! I checked out that first site. And I think this is a good starting point for Marty.

Marty- let me see if this link works. http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/de...n-us;newsgroups

(If it does'nt take you there then this is what I did....I went to the first link Farmhand gave us on his post. Then in the search for option type in backgrounds. There's 3 threads, and I was at "Cut out and photography help." Someone there gives a little more details on how to do it. Pretty interesting. I'll try it here at home too. Maybe that will help with your white block.
