Can you measure a foals cannon bone

I know you can measure a big horses cannon bone after the age of 6 months and predict within an inch or two what their height is gonna be. But I also know that if a big horses cannon bone to fetlock is say 16 inches they will be right around 16 hands. So my question is if I measure my coming 6 month old filly's fetlock to cannon bone can I predict the same? So far according to the growth charts she should mature to 29-30, I was just wondering if you can measure the leg and come out with the same thing.

Also is there a chart to show this anywhere? Thanks guys
