There are several great Clubs in AR but both are up north so some of us in the central and southern part are getting togather for a sattlelite club of the AMHS. Hi Shelley,

Do you have any information regarding a 2006 Miniature Horse Show in the planning stage by the Arkansas Mini Club? I have had folks ask me about a show that they think is in the planned for the Tunica, MS. Center, they are contacting us because our farm is located near Tunica, MS. and I don't have any info on it.

:aktion033: YES there is going to be an AMHR show in Tunica, MS, August 12-13th, 2006. It is still in the very early planning stages, but we do have our show manager picked out and she is to start the ball rolling on everything now. We are sooooooo excited and do want everyone to attend, it is shaping up to be a very nice show. The arena has very nice stalls with rubber mats and wash racks everywhere. Completey covered all the way to the main show arena, a warm up area, and the arena itself is air conditioned!!! Please do plan to attend, look for our ad in the The Journal hopefully in April, we are still trying to get things together for that, trying to meet the deadline. We have a AMHS meeting tomorrow, I will try toget the updated info. It is in Tunica, it is the Sams Town Shoot out I believe. it is for minis and ponies. it is a 2 day show in August. I will let you know more about it or some one else from AMHS can add info to this thread.

Just a quick note that this will be a new club, not a satalite club of the American Miniature Horse Society located out of Judsonia, Arkansas. It will have some of the same members but it will not be the same club.
