What color would you call this??? His sire was palomino, now is solid white, dam is black & white pinto.

He looks sorrel going grey to me. Does he have white hairs above his eyes. Good indicator, he will shed out grey
 
He has more of a blonde-ish color coming in, but since his sire went from Paolmino to white, I was wandering if he would do the same....
 
I agree with Tracy - going gray. Sounds like perhaps his sire is really a gray too. Usually born one color and end up white.
 
So should I register him as sorrel, or would you say gray....since he will probably turn?

Could be chestnut, could be silver, can´t really tell in this pic.

He looks silver dapple to me... silver dapple babies tend to be lighter around their eyes with light eyelashes - so without seeing him up close it is hard to say if he is greying out or not...

Sire was palomino that went grey?? Do you have a pic?

I'm thinking he must have had silver as well...

Many silver dapples are mistakenly called palominos. My guess is that the sire is a silver dapple gone gray/white. This colt is definitely a silver dapple. Time will tell if he will also go gray like his sire.
