Creative minds needed

:saludando: Hello everyone: I was wondering with all the creative minds on here, if any could offer a suggestion for a homemade costume for my 12 yr son. This is his last year in the Elem. school before he goes off to middle/high school(Same bulid) Boy, I am starting too feel old One that is low key on the budget, but one that would be "awsome" for a 12 yr. old boy.. Last year I bought him the FAT BAT suit from Walmart, but don't really want to buy one. Homemade are so much better, but when your not creative, you end up buying..

: They are calling for rain all day today and tom. which would give me time, the party at school is Thrus.. I do have the "fat belly" from his fat suit, trying to use it somehow.. But open to all suggestions, and the arms and hand are only getting worse.. So sewing is kinda out of the question. :no:

If he was older and one of those guys with a lot of confidence who can pull off anything I'd suggest a maternity top over that fat belly, but I think he is probably a bit young to pull that one off properly. lol.

Without being able to sew that sort of limits my suggestions.

One year I used a yellow sheet and painted it to look like an M&M bag. We used to call my kid "Peanut" before she was born so the yellow bag was an inside joke.

Last year she needed two costumes, one for places where she could wear scary costumes and one where she couldn;t wear scary costumes (her main costume was a werewolf). So we dressed her up in ratty old clothes, messed her hair up and got her face dirty and we made her a cardboard sign that said "will play video games 4 food". It was generally a hit but one mom did get very offended and complained.
