Did you miss me? Finally upstairs!

It has taken a long time and there is still SO much more to move up but the majority is up and I am "living" my dream of being in the cabin. I cannot tell you the joy I feel to be able to LOOK out windows! To see my kids graze and play. Watch the birds at the feeders, the deer in the woods. I still don't have phone lines up yet so the puter and phone are strung up through the floor where the unfinished staicase is but hey; it works! I have never had "new" anything. Always made due happily with 2nd hand. Hope you like it 1/2 as much as I do. My home is always open to anyone traveling the NY/Pa border. I've a lovely guestroom and a small paddock with a run in as you go along.

It's just gorgeous.

We didn't get much snow here where I am in Ohio- we just saw weak flurries. Closer to the lakeshore they got nailed with it... it was all lake-effect stuff, and we're right on the edge of the snowbelt here.

Still, the flurries were enough to make me want to put up the Christmas lights. The day after Thanksgiving, I swear
