Y'all gave me tears! Thanks. You're all I have to share it with and to see how much you understand my joy!

You all are welcome any time! And I must say...this is my "heaven on earth". No need to go anywhere. I just sit and grin and cuddle on my chaise end of the couch under my newly made soft lovee.

Sharon, the bead board is perfect! Thanks.

I really hope if anyone is traveling through you shout. I'm a super cook. Lisa (candlelight) you know you can come. Lyn, visit next time you're going up to Bruce's. I'll share my dream with you.

Again thank you ALL for your kind words and enthusiasm.

Deb,

How great for you to get upstairs in time to see the snow out your windows. It looks so warm and cozy- I can just imagine you sitting by the window watching your horses run and play in the snow. I'm so happy for you. I know you'll have a wonderful Christmas.

I'll come visit you again in the Spring if its ok.

Ohh, that is SO awesome! I love log cabins...we have a cottage and we have always wanted a log cabin style, but settled for a regular style but tried to bring the log cabin feel into it..... the view looks great!

LOve your kitchen mine is so tiny, y closet in my bedroom is larger than my kitchen. Soo happy for you...

Deb- You are more than welcome for the suggestion of using beadboard on the back of your island. I saw it done once somewhere and really liked the look, and so easy to do too.

We have this big old antique(?) cabinet in our kitchen. It's got about a 4 inch thick butcher block top. Right now it sits against the wall, but my dream to to have a bigger kitchen and have that piece as an island. Then, I'd put the beadboard on the back.

PLEASE.....take pics of your place all decked out for Christmas!
