After Vic's very positive and happy post, I was hoping for one just as good from you. Still sending thoughts and prayers to you.

Well thank you so very much. Saw the Dr again today and she is floored at how well I'm doing. She asked me who did my miracle and I told her you all did.

My hand is healing amazingly well. As you see I can type with both hands. I have feeling in my palm again without pain. If you saw the pics of the burn (we have taken daily pics since the first debridement...

) and saw it today you wouldn't believe how good it is. She says I have to continue what I'm doing and I'll bounce back quicker than she could have ever dreamed.

SO, ain't that just grand! I feel pretty good. I still get tired when I do something big. I cleaned the baby stall today (ok I know bad bad) but she's new to being alone and I wanted it super clean and deeply bedded. My neck is sore but I figure I'll sleep well tonite. Shain does ok but not as thorough as I would like. I'm itching to really clean em up right.

My gloves should arrive soon for the hand. Nice soft white cotton jersey to protect it from bumps and rubs. My skin is still red but so soft, the new skin is growing daily. Will keep up the silvadene dressings twice a day with a wash each time. Hopefully by the weekend I can quit wrapping it and wear my gloves with the silvadene.

im so happy for you debbie, im sure the last few weeks have been agony for you,just take it easy with the labouring , although im sure your itching to get going again , its hard sitting about, especialy whens the televisions not great lol
