Well I baked my hubby a pie for tomorrow(mile high brownie pie

) and got him a box of Whitmans Chocolates! Oh I also have his favorite pizza for dinner! He's on midnights right now so food is the way to go! LOL!

Anyone doing anything special or just another day?

It's also my moms Birthday so I made her a pie too and I'm going to take her out to lunch while hubby's sleeping!

ETA: personally I'd love my ring fixed! I don't care about anything else really. My diamond fell out so I'd like to be able to wear my ring again! LOL! I have it, it just needs to be put back in! I kinda feel...... yucky with out my ring on!

I hope you get your ring fixed! 18 years ago I showed Sonny and somewhere that day I lost the main diamond out of my ring! I went 17 years without a ring! It's still not fixed, but I did get a new ring for our 25th anniversary last year! I waited all those years for our 25th LOL.

Sounds like you have hubby & your mom covered!

Karrel always wanted to get me roses etc. But I felt bad about him spending $$$ we couldn't afford on me. I usually do the following......

I color & cut out a bunch of paper hearts! I write things on them.....Ooh baby! Hot stuff! I love you! My darling etc etc on them.

Then I tape them in places that he will find them all day long.

Coffee maker? yup

Flips up the toilet seat? Yup!

Car steering wheel? Yup!

In his wallet? Yup!

Fridge? Yup!

etc etc etc

Doesn't cost anything but let's him know he's loved!!!

We ate while we were in town, yesterday; as we might be snowed in by tomorrow (wind is just screaming through here, and I can see lots of snow blowing around). [County roads aren't too bad, but a 1/3 of our 1/2 mile driveway is about blown shut, probably will be by morning; and our snowblower is in pieces on the shop floor, new parts picked up yesterday.] I know there is a box of chocolates for me in the extra fridge.

My hubby resigned from his position yesterday, he is starting his new job on Monday. That freed up his schedule for a few days. Tomorrow we are going out for breakfast for valentines day. He is making dinner tomorrow, which usually does not happen unless it is summertime and he is grilling.

I am sitting in a hotel waiting on the girl we are giving a ride to so I can go home!

Hubby always gets me a box of candy, and a romantic card. It was waitning for me on our puzzle table when I got up this morning. I always fix one of his favorite dinners, tonight it is roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, and caulaflower sataued in garlic and butter. Not sure on the spelling there, but whatever. Money is tight nowadays, but back in the day we used to rent a hotel room and get away just for the night, very romantic.

Happy Valentines day! When I was younger, my mom invited alot of kids over from our church and we did crafts, games, etc. Now we just eat candy lol Not really anything XD

My GF and I exchanged cards last night - we choose to be a little different and not do things exactly on the holiday.

Today, we are both off together, so this morning I made homemade stuffed strawberry french toast. Pizza and probably a movie later. Just quality time together.

I always do things to surprise her and she does the same all year long. Notes scattered through the house and in belongings. Messages on the bathroom mirror, sweet text messages, small sensitmental gifts..

Yep! <3

I'm one of those that thinks that everyday should be "Valentines Day". I do special things for my man everyday (and he does the same for me). That said, we did exchange cards and I got a couple of lobsters, roasted some potatoes, and braised some bok choy...oh yeah...and WINE ;)
