Do you think my horse may have cancer??

Under my horses throat is a lump. I found it yesterday and I will show Mum tonite. What are the chances of it being cancer? We will get the vet up ASAP. What should I do in the meantime??

It could be so many things, from an impacted tooth to a swollen Lymph node. Dont worry untill you have something to worry about

Oh come on, let's not get that dreary. Could be so many things. Call your vet out directly and don't wait another day. Is your horse acting sick at all? Strangels comes to mind and so do a variety of things and she should be started quickly on medication most likely soon.

Had a POA with exactly that and it was Strangles, within days of when I bought him. So don't buy trouble, it's treatable. Maxine
