You use propane canister -- and hook up to your hose -- within 5 SECONDS you have warm water. Takes 16.9 canister inside it -- I asked Jeffers if it could be modified for use with larger propane container they said ----

"OK, the front of it opens and the canister slips right in. But its more a screw type connection. There's a little (1/4") piece that sticks out but above that is like the male end of a water hose the the bottle fits up into. It's not made for a large tank but I'm sure anyone that's made a fish cooker could probably adapt it "

Perfect for taking to shows as well as for those of us who do NOT have real water heaters at our barns.

I purchased one right before Nationals. I haven't used it on a horse, but I did use it to wash some chairs that were moldy. It gets really hot, but the pressure isn't great, but it beats cold water LOL. Even with the low pressure, I don't regret buying it. It is rechargable, with either a cigarette lighter on your car or a regular outlet, so it doesn't require electric right where you are using it. It is light weight and well made. Jeffers also had a special, that price, free shipping and a free bottle of the Oster shampoo (you choose scent). They forgot to to send me the shampoo so in my next order from then I mentioned it and they gave me 4 free bottles! I really like Jeffers
