I just read that today, January 14, was designated Feast if the Donkey during medieval times to recognize their importance in the Bible. Sadly it fell off of the calendar sometime during the 1500’s.

It is a sweet festival so to all of you donkeys out there, Madeline says, Happy Feasting!
