One more "first" regarding this foal... His mother was the very first miniature mare I ever purchased. I've had her since I was 13! She was an excellent roadster horse "back 'n her day".

We finally settled that today:

As some of you know, every colt here has to earn his...well...his Stalliondom. He's either a winning Stallion, or he'll get a shot at becoming a winning Gelding.

With a father like [SIZE=12pt]B&L's Rock "E" Red Alert[/SIZE], this little guy has some substantial hoof prints to follow in. We hope he and the show world are prepared for each other but, ready or not, here's:

[SIZE=18pt]Strasslein Red E Or Naught[/SIZE]

Note: We call Red Alert "Redi" and came up with the “Red E†as a way to name his foals after him and still pay some small homage to his sire, Bar-G's Rock "E".

I just came in from doing the evening chores and took some time to play with our new little colt. He’s as feisty and ornery as they come, getting into everything and even tugging on my shirt tale like a puppy when I squatted down to give momma a treat. Reckon his barn name will have to be “Naught Eâ€.
