Tentative name Raftered Hearts Buckin' the Tide (aAprinas Buckin Incredible X Raftered Hearts Cherry Bomb)

(sorry for the not so great detail on these, I am not sure I like my new camera though it has higher megapixels than the old one, I got such beautiful pics from the old one....)

Here he is trotting around w/his mom (she doesn't like me getting too close so pics are fun)

Thought this was cute b/c Mouse his big brother is in the background. I see some similarities for sure.

I do think this horse is a silver buckskin, his hairs in his mane and tail are wispy grey-silver in the center, more like soft smoke than black.

Thanks for looking!

He already needs a hoof trim, too, believe it or not!

And we will see when Dr. Hunter wants to come and make him a gelding so we can have fun at the shows. I have the feeling he's going to be a really great, sweet and laid back gelding when he's grown. His sire and dam have THE BEST attitudes and his dam is a wonderful driver.

Thanks for looking at him!

Liz

Liz, I agree. He does favor his big brother! Pretty upheaded boy that doesn't look like he'll miss much that goes on around him! Congrats again!

Liz, He sure is a nice looking colt and so is his brother. The pictures look great. Thanks for sharing.

What a nice boy! I love the last shot with brother in the background! It will be interesting to see what color he ends up being. Congratulations again!

CUTE...CUTE....CUTE! I love that little guy Liz!

Have you tried adjusting the "exposure" on your new camera? It looks like you are having the same problem that I was when I got my new camera. All the "lighter" subjects lost their definition (were TOO light). When I adjusted the exposure to a lower number....it helped dramatically.

Cute cute cute!

Isn't his dad a buckskin (non silver)?

If so, that would mean his dam is a sorrel that carries a hidden silver gene.....

: I can't wait to see pictures of his first trip to the beach!!!

I know what you mean about the pictures.......my Father got me a new supposedly way better camera for Christmas..........ick I hate the pictures it takes and I went back to my very old out-of-date digital camera :bgrin

Ahhhhh there is the new man! That is a very neat picture of the lurking big brother. You can just see mouse saying,,, ( MOMMMY!!! I am your little boy! Oh my, what have I done, why don't you love Mouse anymore???)

He is just too adorable Liz. I had a heck of time getting used to my new camera also. Try the menu and adjustments. Took me forever but was worth it. Love his name!
