First Ever Driving Picture post!!!

Okay! so... Aura was AMAZING! so we spent about a couple minutes ground driving her to the cart, i sat on the edge of it, and then i climbed in and off we went (At the walk) !!! she was soo good i only worked her for like ten min. she only took off once and i think it was becuase it got a little bumpy and she got scared but i calmly got her back to a walk and we finished up! heres a picture!...

I'm 99.9% sure she is harnessed correctly. but if she isn't let me know! i will hopefully get more pictures tomorrow or sooner! oh yea, and my arena isn't all that level, but when we are standing on level ground the shafts are level!

Thanks, yea. i just did a couple of min. I have spent hours and hours ground driving her! like i said she only spooked once. and did i mention i drive her in an Open bridle, with no check?

I can feel your excitement!! Isn't driving fun? You should try to get to the CT Valley Driving Club's Driving Trial and/or Fun Day June 6-7. See the other post about that. It must be pretty close to where you live and it will be a great opportunity for you.

How was your drive on Thursday? Couldn't get much better weather, but I was tied up all day and couldn't drive myself.

I hope to be at the Driving trail (to watch) and have signed up for the clinic the next day too. So I hope to get to meet you - if we don't have mares foaling then. Hard to make long range plans! Do you belong to the CT Valley Driving Club? Will I see you at the meeting tonight?
