IT'S A FILLY!!!!!!!!!! I think she is buckskin as she is lightning up as she dries off...what do you all think?

Mom and baby doing fine...no complications, textbook delivery!!!

Filly was up and nursing within 30 minutes.

Not a pinto like I had hoped but A FILLY none the less...I'm ecstatic!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone!!!! She is quite a little firecracker already...bucking and kicking at mom. I'm thinking on calling her Trixie(barn name) but having trouble with a registered name. Sire is Ramakers SMW Blu Jay and Dam is Squires Montana Lil Miss Pixie. Any ideas?

As for measuring. Take a cloth tapemeasure and go from the cornet band up to the knee, to the middle of the knee. You will feel a hole there. Measure that area and you should get an approximate idea of the height.

then multiply it by 4 and add an inch or two.

OK so I measured her and it says she has a 7.25" canon bone so if I multiply by 4 and add an inch she should stay around 30"!!!!!!! Mom is 34" and dad is 31" i think...I will have to double check on him! YIPPEE...she will stay small!
