I've been watching and admiring all the little foals on here, but today I have my own to talk about.
We've nicknamed him Bosley and he's a little Chestnut with a white frosted blanket.
Mare gave birth later morning - waited for me to pop out! I came face to face with him when I drove my buggy up the field to clean out water butts. He'd gone under the fence and was hiding under the pear tree. Got him back with Mum, but he wouldn't follow her and she didn't seem bothered. Patience paid off as my other half and I spent time showing him how to get to the milk bar.
Mum and foal are as happy as larry now......................only two more to arrive.
