Foaling season

LOoking forward to the foaling season but of course I get to sleep

How many wonderful little ones are you expecting this season?

When do they start to arrive?

and what is your most anticipated pairing?

Two!!??!! As for the dates, there are no certain ones.

Vet was out here yesterday and said they look in foal. So I guess mine will be here when they get here. And when that happens Kay will hear me squealing! As for the most anticipated one would have to be Ginger (Wittmaacks Mickey Mouse background).

Well, we bred six, our first would be due to Foal Feb 12, but, it looks like she did not take, so, next one will be due March 14th. Then I think another one did not take so we have four left to foal. This is my stallions first year breeding so, maybe he isn't all that fertile. We shall see!

We have 5 due this spring. It's the first year we have had more than three so we will be busy. Three are due starting the beginning of April and two in May.

I am very excited about pairing our bl and wh pinto stallion Billy with our little bl and wh pinto we call Haley "2". We pruchased her shortly after we purchased a bay pinto yearling filly who's name is Haley so she became Haley2.

"2" is a true black and has a pretty dished head and some minimal showing where did she well. Here's hoping for a gorgeous true black pinto baby!

We have two mares that I believe to be pregnant -- will palp and/or ultrasound them this weekend. -- One was bred late June and the other at the end of august.

So -- anywhere from April - July for the 1st mare (she normally foals around day 300 however) and from end of June through first weeks of Sept for the other mare - she is normally between 300 and 330 days however.

I'm on foal watch now

She is due the first week of January 2006 and starting to bag. I sure hope she last untill then as that will be my only foal for 2006.

This year we had 5 so can't ya tell I am cutting down on horses

We have 1 miniature baby due in may. this will be the first foal by my stallion, Honkens AKS Cracker Jack. He is a blue roan pinto (true) bred to our black and white pinto mare, Small World Janine.

I have four mares confirmed in foal by Pregnamare test. All are bred to my b/w Tovero stallion, Bears Snips Illustration (a.k.a. Bandit)

I would have to say my most anticipated foal is probably from T&S Mini Ranch Sparkles and Gold.

She is a great grand-daughter of Bond Peppy Power and really a sweet mare. This will be her first foal and she is due around late March. She will probably be my first to foal this coming year. I am really looking forward to all the foals. I can hardly wait.

I have one pregnant; she was bred May 17 - 19, 2005. I was able to feel the baby kick for the first time last week!!! As long as she is stuffing food in her mouth, she's one happy mama!

We could have over 20 foals this year or not!!! Due to his advanced age I gave the largest # of mares to Brewers Orion Slate our direct son of Orion Light Vant Huttenest. He seems to only breed at night so I only saw him breed 2 mares this whole year but Im sure he got some more.

I had a few mares vet checked so am sure that at least 7 are in foal and several are due in jan/feb so foaling season will be starting up soon for us. We will have foals, hopefully, by 6 of our stallions and 1 by an outside stallion as I bought the mare in foal. Yes thats right u can congratulate me I only bought 1 mare in 2005!!!! I did buy a few stallions but I sold some too so that isnt so bad, LOL.

We have a possible 7 foals due next year beginning in May and hopefully bred to Little America's D. S. Dream Catcher our little red snowcap stallion. We sure hope we have the same results Tony had with him this year!

I have 6 coming. The first 2 are both due the end of Mar. then 3 in mid April and the last is due the end of May but if she does her usual, the foal will be here the end of Apr.

I will have 2 babies this year, these will be my first babies and me and my kids can`t wait for them to hit the ground!! They will be here in the first part of April.
