For those of you traveling

I heard this on the news the other night and thought I'd post since it's horse show season and y'all travel quite a bit. Interstate 44 in Missouri, between the west side of Springfield and Rolla, MO, will be shut down from July 7-9. There's a detour, but it looks to be a pain in the rear so y'all might consider an alternate route if you need to go that way. Road closing and detour info.

April, I live in the very SW corner of the state, about an hour south of Joplin. I like to keep an eye on the road closings when I can because hubby drives a big truck. You're quite a ways up north, aren't you?

[SIZE=14pt]Nope Im way down here in the south!!! 30 miles from Arkansas. 100 Miles for Springfield. I live on HWY 17 about 7 miles from 63. My father also drives.... I worry about Colorado in the winter. they ALWAYS have road closings up there. [/SIZE]
