If you could pick only one place to visit, which one would it be and why?

Narnia, Everytime the movie is on tv we see the last 1/2 hour. Have never seen the beginning of it. So need to read the book, buy the movie and figure it out. Enjoy what we do get to see.

It's weird but I like the movies better then the books. The books felt boring and drawn out to me. Not that they were bad, I just liked the visual Narnia better then the imaginary one.

Hogwarts, no contest!

I would talk to the paintings, climb the moving staircases, visit the Owlery and Gryffindor tower, eat in the Great Hall and look at the ceiling, visit Myrtle's bathroom, and maybe try to find the Room of Requirement. Then a walk on the ground to visit Hagrid's cottage and Mrs Sprouts greenhouses and watch a Quidditch match. I might even venture into the Dark Forest, but I might not be brave enough for that.

Oh, and Sarah, I'm with you on Narnia - The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe was the very first book I ever didn't finish reading, and not finishing a book was a fairly monumental occasion in my young life at that time, especially because I'd been quite excited about reading it.

We must be long lost sisters! You just described my dream-vacation perfectly! Lol. I would also love to venture into Hogsmeade for a butterbeer and to visit Honeydukes.

I trudged through all seven.

Love the pic!

I think for me the time the visit would take place would be the deciding factor--would I be dropping in at the beginning/mid-series or just after the conclusion? Of these choices, if I'd be arriving in the beginning or mid-series, I would choose Narnia; if at the end, I'd go to Hogwarts. I think I'd be less intimidated by Narnia's antagonists than by Voldemort.

However, if I could drop in once Voldy had gone moldy...I'd love to go to Hogwarts!

I'd visit Godric's Hollow, Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, buy a pygmy puff from Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, play exploding snap and so much more!

I'd also really like to visit the Midlands/D'Hara, but they weren't on the sign...

On a side note, it's nice of them to include Panem on the sign since the Hunger Games series was/is so popular, but to me it does not really belong with the others. There's nothing really "magical" or otherworldly about it; it's merely presenting a dystopian future of the world in which we live. Maybe I'm just not in the right frame of mind?

Yes, I am a nerd. I've come to terms with it!

I would love panem AFTER the whole uprising ordeal. Remember all of the land outside of the districts? No humans

I would love that!

I gotta listen to those HP books!!! I've had the audio collection more than a year. I've never watched the movies, so it will all be new to me!

It's a toss-up between Hogwarts and Pern. I love Hogwarts, but.... sentient, telepathic dragons that can go anywhere in three seconds via teleportation? Hard choice....

Jill, you're killing me! You have GOT to read Harry Potter! I love the world, the characters, the story...

I think I'd like to visit Narnia. I honestly can't remember if I read the book, but I've seen the movies and loved them.

Love this topic!!

For me... Middle Earth, especially Lothlorien, where the Elves lived, or Rivendell. The entire time while I was reading LOTR all I could think of was how beautiful Lothlorien must be (and Middle Earth), and how much I wanted to be an Elf!
