This is my gelding Cloud Across the Moon in his first solo parade. He tolerated the decorations very well, and didn't even mind the jingle bells on his legs. They didn't even make us go last with the other horses, but put us in the middle. We were the only miniatures, and of course, they announced us as "little pony", even though I had written down the information for the announcer. I wouldn't say he actually enjoyed himself, but he did a good job!

There was even a goat cart--the first I've seen. I tried to find them after the parade to look at its harness, but missed them.

Anyone else have a parade this weekend?

Great outfit you and your horse have. My 4th of July parade with my team of Miniatures is the evening of the 7th.

I have a choice of 4 to do. Our club is planning on a group entry in one but so far they haven't told us when and where to meet (

: ). All of them will be on Tuesday.

We may do our local parade on Wednesday morning. Julie will more than likely do it, but I may just watch with Chris.

I will be doing a couple of parades on the 4th, but they will be with my riding horse not my minis. I'll see about posting pictures after one of them.

I'll be doing a parade in Arcadia on Tuesday morning along with Kristy from Island Miniatures. A few of our friends are going to be walking with minis also. It'll be hot, but fun. This will be Dawn's first parade (in our avatar) - she'll be 27" of fun.

Have a great 4th everyone!!!!!

God Bless this wonderful country of ours!

Sherry and I will both be driving carts in the Roman Forest Parade and her Mom, Shirley, will be driving a golf cart. We won a prize in last years parade. We will be driving our 13 time World Champion Gelding, Hermann's Gentleman Joe, and World Reserve Champion Rocking JM 3TS Rose Chablis. We were lucky to win an award in last years parade. :saludando: Happy 4th everyone! :aktion033:
