I agree 100%; there should have been better monitorying...When my horse was fully sedated, laying flat on the ground, my vet was hesitant to even walk over to the buck pens, even with Dandy in sight, he was in the yard, nothing around him. And the buck pens weren't that far from where Dandy was laying down.Very sad.
I agree that here should have been better monitoring at the Vet.'s. There should have been no way she could get into shavings, especially when Candie warned them that she will eat "everything".
I hope Candie can just remember her little girl fondly and know she is in a better place. Her shoulder may not have healed well and she could have been left in a lot of pain too.
Im am so sorry she lost her mini.
