I wanted to let you know that Tammy's mother died yesterday. She had had surgery, I believe on her leg and then suffered an aneurism. She was such a nice lady and a huge part of Tammy's crew. Lauren stayed with them for a week working on her driving several years ago. A very sweet lady and a huge help to all the Winning Way clients. She will be sadly missed.

Tony,

Gayle actually collapsed after suffering an anuerism in her stomach and then underwent emregency surgery to fix it. Unfortunately, they could not get her blood pressure back up after the surgery. I was fighting back the tears when I called and gave your wife the message, so I am sure she had a hard time understanding me. I apologize.

Thank you for being the one to post this. Earlier today, I just couldn't bear the thought of typing it. I feel so bad for Tammi and Riley. Gayle was a hughe part of their lives. A person could not find a more devoted mother and grandmother.

I first heard this news Saturday night and was shocked to say the least. I've known Tammi and Gayle for quite a few years now and I'm sure this is just devastating to Tammi as she was very close to her mother. Gayle will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Gayle was a HUGE part of Tammi's and Riley's (Tammi's son) lives and was a fixture at the shows in this area. I just spent time at AMHA World with Gayle. Such a shock...

I would also like to offer my sympathy to her family and friends.

Bonnie

Larry and I send our prayers and condolences to Tammy and her family.

Oh My Gosh, I've known Tammi and Gayle for many, many years. Tammi showed Red Hot for a while when she first came to Oklahoma. Gayle was a wonderful person who would do anything for you. I know her loss will be greatly missed not only by Tammi and Riley but everyone that knew the family.

I can remember at Nationals when we were showing Red and she was wiping my cart seat down for my class. As I went into the warm up ring I almost slide off the seat. When I can out, Gayle said OH, MY gosh I wipped your seat off and the cloth had ARMORAL on it. We had a wonderful laugh about it, but it sure was fun trying to stay on that seat during that class. Gayle--thanks for the laugh and the wonderful memory.

Tammi, Riley, and your extended family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Know that Gayle sits at the feet of GOD and will always watch over you as you go forward in this earthly life. She was a wonderful person and truely gave of herself when others needed her help. She will be greatly missed. May GOD hold you all in his healing arms and wrap you in the comfort and warmth of his halo.

Pat and I were both saddened to hear of Gayle's passing. She was always a constant presence at the shows and always had a smile on her face and a kind word. I am so glad I was able to see her at the Championship show and visit some. She will be very missed.

Tammi & Riley, you are in our prayers. Sheila and Pat Luedders

I didn't know Gayle or her family, but I want to offer my sympathies. This thread has me crying since I lost my Mom just 2 1/2 months ago, also unexpectedly, and I feel so badly for Tammi and her family, as I know just what they are going through. My condolences on their loss.

Oh my GOD - What a SHOCK! I just found out from Davie!! We were stalled right next to Tammi, Riley, and Gayle at Worlds!! I've known the family since the summer of '96, before I even owned a miniature horse !! Gayle and I did crafts together for almost a year... I'm still can't believe this news ! My prayers to Tammi and Riley !! God bless both of you...

We hadn’t had the pleasure of meeting her, but it’s always a sad day when someone from our mini family passes on. My condolences and prayers to her friends and family.

MY goodness, they were stalled right across the alley way at the World Show. Such nice people and a real joy to be around. It is a real loss to the entire miniature world to say the least. Vaya Con Dios my friend.
