Thanks to the Kindess of Kim... I will be showing at the Sixth Street Gallery in their Hand Drawn show in May. Have to have everything ready by March 28th.

http://www.sixthstreetgallery.com/

Will be showing three pieces this time around... two cats and one Children's illustration Mare and Foal.

Wanted to show a variety of my work and I think these pieces do that.

Here are photos of two pieces of work.. still have to scan the other in.

Thank you everyone for your very kind comments!

Have to admit, this is the first show I have seen that is being done in the Mediums I use. Will be nice to see how others use the same mediums. VBG

Can't wait to see how you do! Hopefully excellent! Your work is awesome. And I hope the gallery is nice.

Hey,,, I thought we love to sponsor horse classes, why not an art show! Will be waiting to hear how WELL you do Shari!

Very glad you and your daughter still like the work Relic! Thank you.

I might do better against other Artist's of the same medium. Couple of years ago.. I entered in a couple of shows...via mail. All I got is.. you could of won if you used a "real" medium like oil. Sigh ~~

So I am trying not to be too hopeful, while being kind'a hopeful at the same time.

Awesome! Good luck Shari! You are one of my very favorite artists! I don't say that lightly!

Those are gorgeous!

I'm still wanting to see that work you were doing of a cat on a patterned pillow/couch? You posted it a long while back?

Well I am totally excited to see how you do! I hope the gallery is nice too. Hard to tell from a website. Will you have the couch kitty one done in time for the show?

Am not sure? Got to work on it a little bit today, at least until the cats decided they wanted me to play instead. Sigh ~~

Then there is this issue of not wanting to sell the original.

HeeHee Shari!

That is the hard part. Well not for me! I love being done and not looking at them anymore! I actually have very few paintings of mine in the house. I love when they go to a new home!

My husband though, I think someone would have to bop him on his boney head and pry them out of his clutching fingers!

But you and he have to make such a commitment to the work, and if you make a mistake, at least in watercolors, you are done. He will sometimes do a painting,,,,,, the same painting,,, three times or more! I would go crazy. I love working with the acrylics and being able to go and change the whole painting if I need to. Don't like it, but I can!

You are right... pen and ink and watercolor... you mess up... thats it. There are some days I wish I could do more waterbased oils. No worries about mess ups then. VBG

Ones like Herald... only took 8 hours.. I don't mind selling those. But the ones with so much detail they take me 6 months to paint....... you would also have to pry them out of my fingers. LOL So I know how your DH feels.

Meet Herald.
