NO gm food is any good and unfortunately it's hard to escape Monsanto's 'wonderful' ideas. They have a list of excuses as to why things need to be modified, but none of it even ads up to me. They are messing with Mother Nature in a way that should not be messed with.

Intentionally killing us; in lieu of the gas chamber. Really takes away from enjoying my corn chips and salsa.

Yeah I bet, lol This has been going on for years and I can't believe the article said it was a 'shocking new report'- no it's not shocking and not new! I dont know of any of the studies on gm stuff that has come back good to be honest.

More poisons- brought to you by Monsanto, makers of saccharin, DDT and Agent Orange. And we question their gm seeds and foods?

I called a seed company a couple of years ago. The representative of the company returned my call and assured me that modern corn had the same nutrition as old corn. He had no facts to back it up, it was so because he said so. The state universities should be called "Monsanto University". They are heavily funded by chemical companies, who promote the agenda of the chemical companies.

The movie "King Corn" was an eye opener for me. I don't buy any animal food with corn if I can help it. It's fit for nothing but bio fuel. Sweet corn may not be as bad, but the corn for livestock is awful.

Don't get me started!

I agree Marsha! When you save seeds from these gm plants to grow next years crop- guess what? They dont work. They dont grow a thing, so you have to purchase more seed from... guess who?! Poor countries and people on a budget cant afford that- and what's up with that that the seeds are not even fertile?!

Have not seen that movie, but just found it free on hulu on line, so will listen while I am at work!

And people WONDER --- why the country is having so many health issues? !

Between the drugged up animals, altered food, chemicals, etc, etc.....etc......it's a wonder we are living at all.

This is why I feel so compelled to get back to my own garden, heirloom seeds, organic practices (where possible) and even my own meats & dairy now. I have hardly ever purchased most canned goods, few sodas, eat out seldom and use real sugar, butter, cream, etc. to help cut back where I can with "stuff". But, so many farmers have no choice sometimes as the offerings are limited.

We are just killing ourselves, literally -- and slowly.

Well, listened to Corn King yesterday while working- yeah- those guys hit it on the head. And they didnt even get into all that they could have uncovered. I also eat 'real food' too- real sugar, butter, etc... and quit drinking sodas. Very little processed food. I buy cheese that is in a block of real cheese, not processed stuff. Basicly all fresh veggies and fruits- and since I am no longer able to butcher my own meat, try to find organic or grass fed.

OMG! Thanks for the heads up, as far as Round up goes, stopped using it years ago, due to some inside info! We grow our own veggies, have chickens for eggs, basically the oly food I buy at the store is meat, but that may soon change as well, we used to raise our own beef, but it became too expensive. What about the animal feed is it contaminated as well?

It is extremely difficult to find feed that is not full of antibiotics (like chicken food, etc..) and other things. All I can tell people is research the companies that your feed comes from and really find out what's in it so there are no 'extra additives' that dont need to be there.
