I just recently bought a carton of Goat Milk, the kind you get at the grocery store with the normal cows milk.

I know it's supposed to smell differently than cows milk.............

but can you tell when it's gone bad like you can with cows milk???? Does it go sour the same???

It is much creamier and tends to absorb the flavour/smell of whatever it is stored in quite quickly....I love it when its fresh from the goat, but after about 8hrs it tastes and smells funny to me :smileypuke:

I think it does start smelling funny faster than cow milk..not that I would really know since I haven't had cow milk in a loong time (we have 30 dairy goats). At the shows we have a big dumpster to throw milk out in and by 5pm the smell is enough to gag you.
