sooooo hard to wait.....

remember when Nootka helped me trace my black and white mares lineage????? well...I am waiting....for the duplicate reg certificate and transfer to arrive IN the mail...wahoo wahoo......3 years later and she is almost complete!!!!! I am soooo excited and everyone I met along the way..has been sooooo helpful and so informative, boy did I learn A LOT! The only roadblock I came across was from her original breeder who advised me she would "sell" me her signature on my mares papers for $1500....shameful. But it has all worked out because of that little tiny word "or" which led me to a wonderful woman with an open heart...and a heart stopping wait for the mailman!!!! jeez louise....pins and needles

i hope i am as lucky... i just got a little mare, have her original papers, and a signed transfer BUT the transfer is from a later owner who never changed the papers <sigh> i did talk to the original owner/breeder on the phone, she was just leaving for hawaii so i am awaiting her return. i sure understand pins and needles! she says she wants to see the horse and paper before she signs me a transfer, which i don't mind. luckily it's AMHA not AMHR so it's an actual picture... and i know it's the right horse and papers. i understand her sire cost 5 figures... she's a woolly mammoth now but can't wait to see how she sheds out!
