Is it typical for them to be so obviousley rude? (Am I taking the whole thing wrong?) Cars and vans running constant(between 5-8 hours straight depending the day. I get that if they are running equipment), people blocking her and her neighbors parking, and the worst.. guys pee peeing outside in daylight!!!

My mom lives in a little mobile home community and picked her spot because it was quiet and her neighbors were of similar age. I totally understand you can not pick out who's going to move in but gosh don't you think the park manager would have put them near younger people. Let me back track a little. The Show thats being taped is MTV's 16 and pregnant. I found this out by calling the office and asking what in the heck was going on when I could not even get in to a parking spot. The lady at the office was all excited and went on and on about the taping. She said they were going to follow these kids around the rest of their lives taping it and that the kids were going to make alot of money. I told her thats neither here nor there.. (meaning I could care less about that part) it's not my business but I do NEED to be able to get to my mom's home. She said no problem and that she would call them and ask them to move their cars/vans. I'm pretty much go with the flow kinda person but I have to be able to get to her and she needs to be able to get out if she wants. So yesterday when I was there she was not blocked in(2 other older ladies were) and I could park and visit. They are so close that I can see in the cars and watch the monitor. I grabbed the binoculars and was watching these kids kitchen through the monitor. Nothing exciting

LOL! There seems to be at least one person in each car running watching the monitors. So I guess if there was an emergency she could go ask them to move...?? Let me add that she is almost 70.

Will this really go on forever? I'm just curious... And what about summer time for her?

It's going to be one way or the other. Just fine, no big deal or a major pain in the rear! We'll wait and see!

Any experience or advice welcome!!

No it will not go on forever. They usually tape a few weeks at a time then off for a few weeks then back on assuming that particular girl actually makes the show. Sometimes they film and during the first few week session they weed out those who they do not feel make the cut for whatever reason and the problem will be solved forever

That said yes filming involves alot of people around but again will not be 24/7 forever

Thanks Lisa! I'll relay the message. I know it has been going on for 3 weeks now for sure. It was going on for about 2 years before they moved in but in the town next to ours. I remember my boss saying MTV is comming to film a reality show but they never showed up. From doing my research on them they are very familar and I know they have been in and out of my work place before. Nice kids but never really connected them with a tv show besides when the boy would say MTV should be taping this. I did not even think twice about it. Lots of people say lots of things!!

I really can't imagine them being happy by all these older people. There is no one to talk to or make friends with. Unless thats not on the agenda at all. Kinda sad.

Thank you for your reply!

Do you know which cast member it is that they are filming?

Yeah my pretty sure from my research it's catelynn from season 1. But I have not seen her at all at the house. Mind you I don't live at my moms and she is the one home 24/7. But from what she discribed and like I said the research I'm pretty sure it's her. Do you watch the show? Is it good? I never have but may peek to see if I see my moms house! LOL!

If I lived in a Mobile Home Park and had the inconvenience of this "film crew" all the time I would make a complaint. Not that I am that hard to get along with. But, my rent stays the same and someone has the right to interrupt my quiet living? Parks usually have to approve you to live there. Did they ask the other home owners if they minded the congestion or disruption of the film crew in the park?

yes Caitlen lives in a mobile home park so very well could be her. I will say though (as embarassing as it is to admit I watched that show) I sure would not complain she is about the ONLY girl on that program that truly is a good kid with not the best adult role models in her life who made the mature decision to give her child up for adoption and is trying very hard to make something of herself. Most reality shows are full of selfish self centered brats but I can say I would be proud to have a kid like her

Now if I lived there and it was one of the other spoiled brats from that season or others I might not be so inclined to be a patient person
