I just checked my paperwork from my vet and hers says, "Your horse may still be fertile for up to another 60 days. Please take precautions to prevent unwanted pregnancy by segregating him from any mares. If this is not a concern in your herd feel free to return him to his pasture mates immediately."
I'm glad to hear he is finally doing better so you can relax a little.
Ok, sounds great to me!! This morning he is doing great!! He was trotting around in the rain, wanting to go play With all this rain, hopefully he'll go back into his barn and quit getting so wet, but hey he's moving!!! Yeah , decided the plan is to turn him out with my other gelding in about a week(should be all healed by then) then around Nov 19th"ish"(just to be safe) let him go with the other mares where he'll have room to really run and play, until next show season TTYL-Sarah
P.S. Once again, can't thank ya'll enough!!!! :aktion033:
