i just wanted to let you guys know that the second mare on janet's webcam just foaled(about 6:45 ish). it looks to be a soild, but i am not sure.

Oh how cute.It's still really wobbly. Srpwildrose is right though. Mom seems to be completely ignoring baby. Hopefully she'll get more interested. I agree with barnbum. Mom looks uncomfortable. She keeps laying down and geting up again over and over.

I saw someone peek in earlier, but haven't seen anyone for a long time.

No the baby hasn't nursed yet, the mom could care less about her new baby.

The mom is trying to pass the afterbirth..still looks unconfortable though.

Please someone help the baby and momma.

I started watching over an hour ago..........

some one peeked in and stood the baby up, then walked out.

Haven't seen them since.................that been about an hour ago now.

I thinl ot's just the mare needs to expel the placenta and she'll settle in. She's uncomfortable obviously right now and nervous.

Would like to see the baby nurse soon though as she looks to be using up a lot of her little energy and looks a bit nervous herself. I ahve heard some go up to over an hour before they nurse though. Am I right? She sure is a cutie pie.

Lady just emailed me, said only been 30 minutes, and watching and trying to relax.

I guess she shot off camera.

They get very addictive. I've stayed up many nights in the past to see one born even if through a camera.
