We use Nose-It horse toys here with a handful of hay pellets inside. They love them...I bought 2 and then took a jolly apply toy and had my husband drill a 1 inch hole in it and use it like a Nose it with the hay pellets. At Equine Affaire last year I saw a Shires brand horse ball feeder toy that looked like it would provide the same kind of fun.
