The link is from the delaware news paper, horrifying story about a pediatrician in Lewes Delaware sexually abusing and raping patients as young as 3 months old. The monster actually taped it. This guys office is near where my mom works at a day care, really upsetting and very disturbing indeed, small community where you can get to know your neighbors. It will take a long time to find all the victims of this guy.

Why try this guy in courts I say... if it is all on video, why waste taxpayers money on a trial. Pure evil, throw away the monster forever.

Don't read this if you think this topic will upset you, might haunt you, guess it bothers me enough to share. I have little kids. If sharing this just makes parents out there say... I will never leave my baby alone with a doctor, or nurse ever.... then I guess sharing does have a point. From what I heard some of the abuse took less than 45 seconds.

It's just sickening. I can't even conceive of an apt punishment for this human filth. My heart breaks for the children and families involved.

sick folks. I read this got sick to my stomach.

what is wrong with people. I pray for the children and their families.

I am not going to say what I would like to say about him because I am a christian.

Lord Help these poor children during all this

Yes.....VERY Sick and VERY disturbing.........I read about it on Fox.

What was strange to me was that he had been allowed access to all of these very young patients WITHOUT the parent present during the appointment..........I would NEVER have left my daughter alone ANYWHERE, even at a doctor's office. I STILL don't leave her at either the dentist's or the doctors and she's 12.

You just never know. The parents might have thought there was an accompanying nurse/aide, and/or he might have told them (especially if the child was fussing) that their precense was upsetting the child...who knows; most people accept what a Doctor tells them without question, and he would know who those people were and take advantage of that. It certainly isn't THEIR FAULT...he is an animal, and it makes it so much worse when it is a person who is in such a position of trust.

This guys office was like an amusement park. He would take the children away from their parents for a quick treat or to see something special and only be gone for a minute or two. Even his nurse didn't suspect something was wrong, but the local hospital started insisting that he have a nurse present when doing exams at the hospital, so somebody suspected something...there were whispers behind his back of wrongful behavior. He also did some of this abuse with the parent in the room, would block the parent from seeing what was happening while he stood between the parent and the child. He was reported for years by parents that didn't think it was appropriate for him to do a OB exam on a child that was in for a sore throat or something minor. The ripple from this will be felt for many years. Cases like this just emphasize that you cannot be too careful when protecting the little ones. This has so stressed the people of that town, especially the ones that are waiting for answers and are afraid of what they will learn about family, friends children.

Even his photos give me the creeps. My heart goes out to all involved in this tragedy. Just makes me cry.

as a victem of abuse myself, I can think of one punishment that WILL cure him.

I agree; some people forfeit their right to live, and he's one of them. But I also think that's way too easy of an out for a creep like him. He should be forced to endure the same pain and misery he inflicted on others every day for the rest of his miserable life.

He just looks so disturbed to me ... You look at a guy like that and your first reaction might be "No way would I leave my child with that slob" Then you think ," but he is a doctor... he HAS to be a nice man , or he wouldnt be in practice." How did this go on for so long that he could violate so many children without getting caught? Isnt this the reason why doctors MUST have a nurse in the room with him if the parent is not there? Without a doubt he will be charged guilty, and with any luck he will be thrown in with the rest of the monsters in jail without a private room... some of these prisioners will have children that they love and miss (some ), and they will take their aggression out on this man in prison. He will get his day....

and it wont be pretty for him. There will be justice for him.

My question is " how does someone like this ...so disturbed... never get caught?" someone has to have noticed something odd about this man, before maybe his parents, siblings? I am sure there is a link to abusing animals too. I would like to know how we can raise awareness and notice these people before it gets out of hand like this man. We have a hotel , and sometimes fathers come with their daughters...usually its just a divorced parent spending time with his child, but sometimes , something raises a red flag with me , maybe the interaction, or the energy between the 2 of them, and I cant help but to think "what is going on behind the closed doors of our hotel room"

I think mothers need to be more protective of their children ...sorry dads if I am offending you, I know there are a lot of good fathers out there. The good news is that he has been caught, he will violate no more....he will soon become the victom of his own crime. ( thats a bit sick too, but the risk you take) Maybe the children are young enough that they can erase this from their mind , I dont know. my heart goes out to the familys, and children involved. and sorry shorthorsemom... I just now read your post of how this went undetected.... OB exam for a soar throat...red flag ... we give doctors way too much trust. I hope we ALL learn from this .
