Horse Illustrated - December issue

We were very pleased to have Horse Illustrated pick one our new products for their What's in Store Section (page 84 - dec issue). They pick on two criteria - one is the quality of the picture and two is the need for the new product. The miniatures are really getting to be recognized in the horse market.

I want to thank Dreamweaver for coming over this summer and helping us with our photo shoot. Dana has very well trained horses and talented daughters. The picture is Si (an absolutely gorgeous gelding) that she and the girls show. The boy is one of my twin nephews. My husband does all of photography and we our proud of our pictures this year - you all know how hard it is to get good shots of horses (add kid and product to that).

By the way - the new product is pack saddles made specifically for the miniatures - they come with breast collar and crupper and strap. They are in our new catalog and also on the web site under Saddles.

The picture is awesome. It is on the white river and Ron even managed to get a fishing boat coming by in the fog. But then again - I am a little prejudiced.

That is such a great picture in HI. Your husband is a great photographer. The horse, Si, - he is on the front of your 2006 catalog w/ one of your nephews and a pretty young girl in a red dress driving? The pic on the catalog is really great too - the kids look so happy and the horse is amazing!

Thanks for the nice remarks. The pretty young girl on the cover with my nephew is Dreamweavers (Dana) daughter Jessica. Her and her sister Casey are great in and out of the show ring. It is great to have kids around that are helpful, polite and lots of fun !!!

The girls and I always enjoy the photo shoots and this year was no exception. The girls always enjoy getting dressed up, it is like glamour shots with your horses! And Ron does such a wonderful job, he has a great eye and he always makes everything look so good! I especially love this picture of Chad & Sy. I think it goes way beyond a picture of a product, I think it looks more like art work to me. Like a photo in a wildlife or hiking magazine. I don't think we could duplicate it if we tried!

I love OMM products and can’t wait to get one of the new CDE Harnesses!! You need to post a picture of that one, it is awesome!
